The first tab marketers open before a meeting
Trends move faster than meetings. The Manyi desk reads the tide every morning, scores what's rising and what's fading, and shows you real posts, not screenshots. It doesn't stop at watching either. Every trend ships with scripts and prompts, so you can walk into today's meeting saying "let's shoot it like this."
Who it's for
Working marketers who make social content themselves. People who answer one question every day: what do we make this week, and how? The content lead at a fashion brand, the solo founder planning tomorrow's Reel, the agency producer briefing an edit. If you've been wondering whether to hire an agency and keep thinking "honestly, I could do this," you're exactly who we write for.
What you get
- TIDE · today's picks. Only what matters this morning, with real videos playing right on the page
- PULSE · US TikTok content and ad rankings. Which videos run and why, plus the formulas ads keep repeating
- FORMATS · the format dictionary. Trends die, but the shooting patterns come back, so we group them into families with cut-by-cut guides
- READ · the study shelf. Flip through strategy and campaign cards, then read the full brief without leaving the site
- ARCHIVE · the stacks. Browse by month, market and type. Past trends stay on record
- Brand · creator kit · lives under MY in the top right. Tell it your brand or channel once, and it picks what you should shoot this week, fills prompts with your name, and lines up your rival accounts' latest posts
- Weekly report · the kit turns into a one-page document you can take to a meeting. Share it as a link and the videos play right there, or download it as a PDF
- How to make it · every trend carries a script, a paste-ready prompt, and an editing recipe. No guide yet? Request one with a button and we'll tell you when it's done
- Why it works · a one-line call on every trend, marked as either AI analysis or the desk's own view, always labeled
Method
Let's be honest first: momentum is an editorial estimate, not a platform metric. Every morning we comb trend reports, platform blogs, creator economy news and the platforms themselves across US, Korean, Japanese and global feeds. From that we give each trend a 0-100 momentum score and a status. Updates run daily at 00:30 UTC, and every date on the site is UTC, so a Korean morning may still show yesterday's date.
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| RISING | red | Climbing right now, the fun of being first on board |
| PEAK | paper | The proven, safe choice |
| FADING | black | Final sprint. If you were making one, post it this week |
| ENDED | black | This wave has passed. Trends circle back, so we'll meet it again next time |
What moves a score: how fast a format spreads, whether it crosses platforms, how much the sources agree, how fresh the examples are. What never moves a score: money. Scores are not for sale.
Every video on marketernews plays through each platform's official embed. It streams from the platform, the creator keeps ownership, and the views count for the creator. Details live in the copyright notes.
Reading the tide means every day is different. When the data says otherwise, we move the score the next morning. That's the desk's job, and that's why it's worth coming back daily.
How to use it
- Open MY in the top right and give the kit your brand or channel. Once is enough. From then on the site speaks in your terms, and if you're logged in it follows you across devices.
- Open TIDE in the morning. Flip through today's picks and save the ones you like.
- Open "how to make it" on anything you'll shoot. The script and prompt come out already filled with your name. Copy, paste into your tool, done.
- Before a meeting, build the weekly report. This week's picks and your rivals' content become one page. Share the link, download the PDF.
Where this is going
Login, cross-device sync and weekly reports are live. Next up: a weekly newsletter, and a single page for planning a US launch. marketernews stays free to read. If we ever run sponsorships, we'll label them loudly. That promise is written here.
Who makes it
The Manyi desk. A marketer who got tired of learning about trends three days late runs it as editor, and an AI newsroom does the overnight collecting and checking. The judgment calls, what to run, why it works, where the estimates end, stay human. Anything the desk picked and wrote is labeled that way. Two lines we don't cross: we never re-host anyone's video, embeds only, and we never dress an estimate up as a metric.
